Mission

Our mission is to provide instruction in all eight limbs of yoga across various community organizations, corporations, and private locations, rather than just a single studio. We also organize travel retreats in the USA and abroad that include meditation, sound healing, energy work, nutrition, and aromatherapy for team building and personal self-care. In our launch year, we will provide community-based yoga and meditation for women and emergency response personnel, as well as organize small group offsite retreats focused on wellness, self-care, workshops, team building, cultural activities, and nature interactions. Yoga Roads is aligned with other diverse practitioners that bring healthy, enjoyable activities and products locally or via travel retreats as an inclusive manner for people to practice yoga with related modalities from beginner to advanced level.
“Yoga’s eight limbs are like a roadmap guiding us to unite our body, mind, and spirit.”

Namaste.
Yolanda (Yoly) Baker, RYT, MR is the founder of Yoga Roads LLC, and her goal is to bring yoga limbs or as she refers ‘roads’, to the community, making a safe an inclusive space to practice all aspects of yoga regardless of skill level, gender or age. In the last 20 years, after taking yoga classes provided at her workplace for employees, she fell in love with yoga. "Every one of my prior Yoga Teachers are like a pearl on my necklace, I’ll always be a student.” Yoly is a certified Master Reiki practitioner, and continues studying herbalism. As a community outreach, she led the Redeemer Puerto Rico Rising Project – Proyecto Puerto Rico Se Levanta and fundraised to aid stricken communities on the island after Hurricane Maria.
