Message in a Bottle... Pondering on Your Vision Board?
Share
Are past Vision Boards you have created as good as a message in a bottle?

Have you found what was pleasing to the eye or which was a great dream but then lost its appeal to you? I recently read a short article by an influencer on LinkedIn, and she had exceptionally good points in relating what did not work for her and helpful tips to create a Vision Board that you can make a reality.
Here are some:
• Don’t create a Vision Board that is too big as you become disillusioned and do not put skin in the game to make it your reality.
• Do not put it away! Remember out of sight, out of mind. Keep it present and savor, relish, how it will feel.
• Take small and big steps to create the conditions that will make your vision a reality; stay consciously aware of the signals you receive, the people you meet, and the opportunities that connect with your vision.
What Does a Vision Board Do?
Vision boards can help accomplish several different things:
• Boost Self-Reflection
• Increase Self-Awareness About Your Life, Goals, Passions, and Bliss
• Motivate and Inspire You Towards Your Purpose
• Ease Anxiety as For the Unknown Future
• Gain Clarity of What Is Important for Your Life
From my perspective, I choose not to start in January of every year and I do not rush to update my Vision Board. The period of December into January always wanted to wrap the year did not leave ample time to ponder direction of personal life until really February. Afterall, at least in my experience, life's vision do not roll neatly into a year. The goals we envision can take longer to come to fruition or morph into another goal. Reworking them into a new board may keep the vision alive or removing them from it if it does not speak to our desires is proper too.
Reverse- engineering your vision goal is one of the techniques we will discuss include the reverse engineering your vision goal to that of the behaviors and concrete strategies to use for arriving at your end goal, weighing the consequences of not achieving it, and supercharging your intentions to overcome procrastination, paralysis, or internal naysaying. Community support, which with this group, you will have, is another.
Come to our Yoga Roads Vision Board event to build or rebuild your own, sharing it with others who have gone through this exercise is reaffirming and clarifying your intention. Once you build your own visual board, you will have a community ready to support you! While equally important is to ‘own your vision’, view your board and recall it often, begin embodying and manifesting your desire.
Feel what it is like reaching that vision and design goal steps toward having what you really want, and don’t forget to be grateful for being on the road to your destination, it is best you enjoy your journey as well!
